Green Pea Pods with Butter
- 2 lbs/1 kg pea pods
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon chopped dill
- salt
Remove any strings from the pea pods, wash and boil in salted water. When tender, drain well. Melt the butter in a pan, add the pea pods, salt, sugar and shake the pan a few times. Place on a plate, put chopped dill on top and serve with French toast.
