Fried Lazy Dumplings
- 1/2 lb/250 g cottage cheese well strained
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons oil
- salt
- sour cream (optional)
- confectioner’s sugar
Mix the cheese with the yolks, add the flour, salt and whipped egg whites. Take tablespoonfuls and shape longish and flat dumplings. Roll them in flour and fry in hot oil. Serve powdered with confectioner's sugar and sour cream (optional).
